I've been so neglectful of all my wedding updates lately. Here's where we're at!
The date!
September 10, 2011. A little less than 8 months away now and I still have SO much to do.
The place!
Big Bear, CA. We're getting married in the backyard of an adorable bed and breakfast. We fell in love right away, but were completely sold when we found out we had the ability to rent it out and start decorating the day before. I can't wait to visit again soon and share pictures!
The theme!
DIY, crafty, backyard, vintage, rustic, casual, and whimsical. I have no idea how I'm going to pull that off, but little ideas are starting to come together. I've been collecting odds and ends from thrift stores for centerpieces and will start my DIY decorations soon. I do need some tips on where to find vintage hard covered books though. Any links or ideas would help me out a ton!
Our photographer!
I'm so, SO excited to introduce you to Jeremiah! Take a look at his website, HERE. His images are just gorgeous. He is everything plus more of what we were looking for in a photographer. He recently shot Erin and Chad's wedding and the pictures are to die for. We've also hired him to shoot our engagement pictures and the photo booth at our wedding! I can't wait.

I have a long way to go, but I'm getting more and more excited the closer it gets! The next step is to start looking for my wedding dress!
I also forgot to mention that in the midst of one of my worst weeks stress-wise, my day was automatically brightened when this book arrived in the mail from Daniel's mom. She's the sweetest.
I also ordered this book today thanks to the suggestion from Rachel!
The next wedding post will be on our wedding party! That is, after we finish asking them all to be in our wedding! Due to schedules and distance, we're a little behind. EEk!
